Women for world peace create support groups for women focused on nonviolent,
solution-directed, social change and experiential, educational, peace
circles that promote peacemaking activism locally and internationally.
Circles of Ten is a grassroots, non-profit organization that emphasizes
the empowerment of women to create a culture of peace at home, in schools,
in their communities, and in the world.
The Circles of Ten website contains stories of the courageous action,
wisdom, and inner strength of women, as well as information about the
organization and the people who stand behind the organization.

Sarah Hartzell is
founder of Circles of Ten: Women for World Peace and President of the Board
of Directors. Sarah has over 10 years of management and supervision experience.
She is a graduate of Naropa University's masters program in Buddhist psychology,
the Emissaries of Divine Light's world leadership program, and the Boulder-based
Group Leadership Training (GLT). She has been a program manager for 'strengths'-based
mental health treatment, has led the Right Sharing Committee of the Boulder
Friends Meeting (Quakers) and has led the 'Healing Society in Action' group
at the Boulder Dahn Hak (Holistic Fitness) Center. As founder of her own
business, Medicine Tree Institute, Sarah offers life coaching to individuals
and groups who seek to live passionate lives based on spiritual purpose.
Sarah is currently working full time as executive director of Circles
of Ten: Women for World Peace.

Bob Simmons,
member at large of the Circles of Ten Board and
founder/principal of the Continued Success Foundation©, is a sustainable
program and policy and program advisor, vision master, speaker, researcher,
strategist, team builder, facilitator and futurist. He worked for the Environmental
Protection Agency for 22 years serving as a Senior Policy and Program Advisor.
He was also the Chairperson of the White House policy group incorporating
"Cultural Change and the Human Factor" and Chairperson of the
American Institute of Architects Strategic Advisory Group on the Environment
(SAGE). He also provides vision and strategic support for the Golden, Colorado
National Field Office of the U.S. Department of Energy, Safe Water Systems,
Bridging the Gap, About Change Institute, Natural Capitalism Inc, Learning
for Living Institute, E-Town Productions, Collage Children's Museum, Barrett

Karambu Ringera
is the founder and president of International Peace Initiatives (formerly
known as Peace Initiatives International – Africa, 2003). Ms. Ringera's
peace activist work focuses on the empowerment of grassroots initiatives
that address "dis ease" in the world, including HIV/AIDS and the
impact of war on women. Through IPI (PII-A), Ms. Ringera has launched the
HIV/AIDS Orphans Education Fund for children orphaned by AIDS in Meru, Kenya.
She has also convened a Women’s International Grassroots Peace Congress
in Nairobi, Kenya to address the role of grassroots women’s peacebuilding
in Africa. The Congress, scheduled for August 2005, has attracted peace
visionaries from all over Africa and beyond.
